Solid stuff - just wonder how close you were to adding Dyson to your list of Pels guards presently not as good as Seabron 😉

Haha! I think Dyson provides a much different skillset/role so I don't view him in that category. To me, Dyson should eventually supplant Herb and should already be supplanting Naji. I believe his jumper will stabilize and he will be a great wing connective piece. Like Iggy in Golden State. Or a bigger Marcus Smart.

Gee, I know McNamara agrees with you but I just don't see it. Herb seems way faster, Naji a better passer who applies more pressure in the lane. Different ballgame if Dyson can develop a 3 but isn't that true for many so-so players?

Frankly I think there is already a wide gap between Naji and Dyson as players and there isn't much of one between him and Herb. I think Dyson will very quickly outpace Herb in that role, and this year will fully reveal Herb's limitations.

Naji's EPM last yr, the same as some solid players - Norm Powell, AJ Griffin, Bobby Portis, Mark Wms. Admittedly that could be his ceiling - still from Summer League, FIBA & last night have yet to see signs of Dyson's improvement. Would be a huge plus if he ever matches the Spurs' Sochan.
